SEHYUN AESTHETIC CLINIC

In rhinoplasty, the nasal tip is where a particularly wide range of problems tends to occur.

That is why tip rhinoplasty should be planned and performed by a surgeon who understands the properties of the autologous cartilage used in the tip
and knows how to handle tip cartilage well.

The nasolabial angle, the angle formed by the tip, the philtrum and the upper lip, is generally considered important,
and this balance does matter, but maintaining it over a long time is not easy.
If the tip is not properly secured, it can gradually droop over time,
or conversely turn up due to contracture.

Also, if the tip cartilage is repositioned but not properly secured,
the tip can gradually rise over time
and the problem can recur, so a proper surgical plan is needed.

SEHYUN AESTHETIC CLINIC

At Sehyun, Dr. Yoo Hyun-seok accurately identifies the anatomical cause of an upturned nose
and develops a tailored surgical plan to maintain the tip's angle and shape
over time.

At Sehyun, techniques that use minimal cartilage and are based on Dr. Yoo Hyun-seok's “cartilage repositioning + tip support technique”
can be expected to create a tip that stays soft and flexible over time.

Q&A

Q.My nasal tip is hard and turned up. Can it be brought down?
A.

There are very few cases in which an upturned nose cannot be corrected to a reasonable degree. An examination can determine how far the tip can be lowered. Our cartilage repositioning + tip support technique can lower the upturned tip while also making it feel soft and supple.

Q.Won't my tip turn up or drop over time?
A.

Dr. Yoo Hyun-seok's cartilage repositioning + tip support technique forms a strong support structure to keep the columella and tip from dropping and help maintain their shape over time.

SEHYUN AESTHETIC CLINIC

Sehyun's surgical results are backed by
Dr. Yoo Hyun-seok's 20+ years of experience as a physician.

Performing rhinoplasty for 20 years or more means treating a truly wide range of cases.
One patient came to us for a 7th revision after other clinics said surgery would be difficult,
and others came to us with recurring problems after a clinic had used rib cartilage for what was only their 2nd revision.

I don't believe any case is impossible.
Some cases, however, need more research and careful thought.
For stable, consistent results, Sehyun keeps researching and studying every day, and performs each surgery carefully based on a plan.
