What Is Fat Grafting?
Fat is harvested from areas with excess fat, such as the abdomen or thighs,
and only pure fat cells are separated in a centrifuge and grafted into areas that need volume.
When the face is thin or loses fat with age, its contours can look uneven.
Filling the sunken areas with your own fat can create appropriate volume and smooth the facial contours.
This can give you a younger appearance, and the fat that remains after 2–3 months, once the graft has become established, can last semi-permanently.

Why does grafting a lot of fat
lead to more absorption or problems?
For fat cells to survive rather than be absorbed by the body, they need oxygen and nutrients,
which are supplied by blood vessels. But if too many fat cells are packed into a small space,
new blood vessels have difficulty forming and the lack of oxygen means more fat is absorbed,
and there is a greater chance that clumps of fat will die or calcify and make the skin surface uneven.
That is why grafting fat cells evenly in appropriate quantities, so they have enough room to breathe, matters more than injecting too much.
The principle is the same even if stem cell growth factors are injected together.
