Male Rhinoplasty

Natural-looking male rhinoplasty starts with precisely setting the nasion, where the bridge begins. With the eyes looking straight ahead, the nasion is placed level with the midpoint between the lash line and the double eyelid crease, and its ideal depth is about 6 mm. The nose is then matched to the facial bone structure, using about 140–150° from the glabella to the tip, 90–105° from the tip to the upper lip, and about 32–36° along the bridge as references.

Simply raising the area between the eyebrows can actually look unnatural, so skin thickness, face shape and balance with the surrounding structures are considered together. We look at skin thickness, facial bone structure and balance with your other features to plan the shape of the bridge and tip. In particular, we check the position and height of the nasion, where the bridge begins, and the angle of the bridge. Rather than simply raising the area between the brows, we design to suit your facial structure.
