What Is a Thread Lift?
A thread lift uses special dissolvable medical threads with strong holding power
to lift the soft tissue for a more noticeable, longer-lasting lifting effect.
Earlier thread lift procedures had weak skin fixation, so the before-and-after difference was often unsatisfying or the effect did not last long.
Sehyun's thread lift addresses these drawbacks with improved skin fixation, using special threads to hold tissue securely,
and is effective for nasolabial folds, sagging cheeks, lines around the mouth and mid-cheek grooves.
If needed, the procedure can also be combined with jawline liposuction for a slimmer, V-shaped jawline.

Q.Why do the number and spacing of cogs on the thread matter?
In thread lift procedures, the type and number of barbs on the thread are emphasized because the number and spacing of cogs are related, to some degree, to how long the lift lasts and how effective it is.
During lifting, the saw-tooth cogs anchor into the dermis and soft tissue layers of loose skin, lifting the skin more effectively and helping the result last longer.
Q.I've heard a thread lift also improves the skin. Is that true?
The barbs continue to stimulate the dermis for about 6 months until they are absorbed by the body, promoting collagen regeneration, so after 2–4 weeks the skin gradually becomes firmer and the skin tone brighter.
